CEO Transition

In 2025 Pushpay underwent a planned CEO transition, which provided an opportunity to create momentum and credibility early in order to land a thoughtful narrative that focused on continuing a legacy of trust and innovation. As the third CEO transition in six years, it was important to reinforce strength and stability in the market and with the company’s employees, customers, and business partners. As a result, a thoughtfully curated communications plan was deployed, including internal resources and talking points, press release, customer emails, a targeted media relations strategy and more.

Coverage was secured in the Puget Sound Business Journal, and other local business publications. In addition, a joint video and social posts and blogs from both the departing CEO and incoming leader helped reinforce the Company’s commitment to the market and it’s focus on delivering innovative technology for its customers–all while conveying a warm hand-off to ensure a smooth transition for the business.

Annual State of Church Tech Report

During my tenure at Pushpay, we launched an annual benchmark study, which surveys more than 1,700 church decision makers and influencers regarding their church's technology adoption. The State of Church Technology report captures a comprehensive view of how churches are using digital tools to serve their communities and adapt to changing ministry needs. It’s currently in its fifth year of production. The report is described as "an invaluable barometer” for ministries looking for insight into the latest trends and the collective mindset of the Church, positioning Pushpay as the go-to source for industry data.

Over the years, the report has fueled the company’s PR program, resulting in dozens of media interviews and a steady beat of coverage in prominent religion and technology publications including Forbes, Christianity Today, Church Production, Relevant Magazine, and dozens of others. While initially in a collaborative role, in 2024 I stepped in to own the project and was responsible for the success of the 2025 launch.

Auto Industry Benchmark Campaign

While leading PR at Marchex, the leading AI-powered conversation analytics company, I partnered with our public relations agency and business insights team to launch an industry benchmark report, specifically uncovering call handling trends among the auto industry. Research was able to quantify how much potential revenue auto dealers were leaving on the table each year from dropped phone calls—including inaccurate re-routing of in-bound calls, dropped calls, unanswered calls and more. As a part of the launch campaign, we also executed a media tour in Detroit, with secured briefings with industry reporters and influencers. The launch resulted in a steady drip of coverage throughout the year.

Broadcast Coverage

Pitched and secured a media interview with the New Zealand Herald, resulting in a six-minute broadcast segment and accompanying article in one of New Zealand's most prominent business publications. The opportunity positioned the company's CEO to share insights on product vision, local culture and talent, and growth strategy following the company's recent delisting from the public market in New Zealand.
